HORWIN AA430 is a low-profile UHF antenna of increased strength for use on moving objects. Structurally, the antenna is a variation of a vertical quarter-wave short-circuited double loop (loop) vibrator with a capacitive load. All elements of the antenna have a galvanic connection with the metal base, which provides protection against the ingress of high voltage from the roof high-voltage equipment or contact network when using the antenna on electrically moving objects. The antenna is installed directly on a flat metal surface, which is its counterweight, with a sufficient projection overlap area.
