HORWIN AR-160L is a low-profile VHF locomotive antenna. Structurally, the antenna is a vertical “L”-shaped quarter-wave short-circuited loop vibrator. All elements of the antenna have a galvanic connection with the metal base, through which electrical contact is made with the body of the moving object, which provides protection against high voltage hitting the radio equipment from the high-voltage equipment of the moving object or contact network. The center frequency of the operating frequency range and the type of connector for connection are specified when ordering.
