Combiners
Combiners are devices for assembling a signal from several transmitters to one antenna in multi-channel base stations. Depending on the design, hybrid combiners are also used on volumetric resonators. Hybrid combiners are compact in size, allow to combine signals with any minimum frequency difference, but have greater losses. Thus, a 2-channel hybrid combiner with a double insulator gives a loss of 4 dB. 4-channel – 7 dB. Combiners on bulk resonators introduce minimal power loss, but require 125 kHz and more channel spacing.
